Inspection (EECVI) and a completed VS-Form 10-11 showing negative results to an official EIA test within the previous six (6) months.
OUT OF STATE ORIGIN A. Horses must meet the same requirements as Texas origin horses.
SALE HORSES (And Other Equine)
These regulations apply to all equine entering the Show Grounds for use of Sale.
TEXAS ORIGIN A. Original Certificate of Veterinary Inspection issued within thirty (30) days.
B. Negative Equine Infectious Anemia (EIA) test, also known as a “Coggins” Test, within the past six (6) months. Test date, accession number and name of laboratory must be listed on the Certificate of Veterinary Inspection. Exemption: 1. Equine may enter shows, fairs, exhibitions or assemblies without a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection when accompanied by a current Equine Passport or a Global Vet Link (GVL) Extended Equine Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (EECVI) and a completed VS-Form 10-11 showing negative results to an official EIA test within the previous six (6) months. C. Vet statement for mares 24 months of age or older at the time of sale confirming pregnancy status and both (two) ovaries and for all stallions 13 months of age or older at the time of sale have two descended testicles.
OUT OF STATE ORIGIN A. Horses must meet the same requirements as Texas origin horses. SHEEP DOGS
A. All dogs entering the Show Grounds must be accompanied by a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection issued within thirty (30) days which states that the dog has been rabies vaccinated within one (1) year of the Stock Show competition dates. POULTRY TEXAS ORIGIN A. Negative pullorum-typhoid test within the past thirty (30) days for individual birds or be from a flock that meets either the Texas Pullorum-Typhoid Program or the National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP) and are accompanied by a VS Form 9-2 or NPIP Form 3B testing report. B. Poultry must originate from an area where reportable avian diseases are not known to have been active in the last thirty (30) days. C. If poultry are vaccinated, the vaccination must be with vaccines approved by USDA and TAHC. Contact TAHC for a list of approved vaccines. NOTE: No modified live virus chick embryo origin Laryngotracheitis (LT) vaccine and no modified live virus mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG) attenuated vaccine may be used on poultry entering the state.
