SPECIAL RULES 1. All heifers must be registered with Beefmaster Breeders United (BBU) as an Advancer or Certified E6 as otherwise stated in the BBU By-Laws (no C registration numbers permitted on entry in show). Original BBU Certificates of Breeding (not copies) on each animal shown, including any calf at side, must be presented to the show superintendent at the time of cattle check-in. Application for BBU Certificate of Breeding on calves less than 30 days of age must be presented. 2. An E6 cow with a bull calf at side is NOT eligible to show in the Advancer/E6 Show. All calves at the side of cows MUST be registered with BBU. To be eligible to show as a pair, all cows MUST have their BBU registered haltered calf at side. If the calf at side is over 90 days of age by the date of show check-in, it must have parent verification completed by show check-in. If it is under 90 days, parent verification of the calf is not required. 3. Advancer/E6 exhibits are NOT subject to purebred clipping rules and are to be presented blow and go. Animals are to be shown in natural conformation and color. Grooming materials leaving any residue are not permitted. Hair may be brushed according to preference with NO foreign substances/fitting materials on any part of the body.
