PROGRAMS

SPEED EVENT HIGH POINT AWARD The Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show will be awarding a $4,000 scholarship to the Speed Event High Point Youth Exhibitor, ages 14 to 18, and a $2,000 scholarship to the Speed Event Reserve High Point Youth Exhibitor, ages 14 to 18. These will be determined by Texas POAC per Texas POAC rules.

JANUARY 20, 2025 $40,000 in Scholarships awarded in the Senior Division. Buckles and special awards presented in the Senior, Intermediate and Junior Divisions. Limited to the first 125 entries. Open to all students ages 8-18, as of January 1, 2025 (3 age divisions), currently enrolled and attending public, private or homeschool elementary or secondary schools in the state of Texas. The Equine Public Speaking Challenge is open to all students between the ages of 14-18, as of January 1, 2025, who are enrolled and are attending public, private or homeschool elementary or secondary schools in Texas.
