SPECIAL PRIZES FOR HERDSMEN Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show------------------------------------------------$3,465.00 Special prizes will be awarded to the herdsmen or 4-H or FFA group in charge of designated livestock exhibits. A committee appointed by the Management will make inspections during the Show to determine those who, in their judgment, make the best record for the period of the Show, taking into consideration the following points:

1. Orderliness and cleanliness of stalls and animals. 2. Promptness in having stalls or pens cleaned by 8 a.m. each day. 3. Systematic and neat arrangement of stall area and service alleys. 4. Adherence to tie out times. 5. Personal appearance of herdsmen and helpers. 6. Observance of all rules and regulations. 7. Cooperating with show officials in promoting the Livestock Show in general. 8. For awards, see heading of each department.

A $50 grand prize will be awarded to the best herdsman in the cattle departments.
