31. GROUP OF ANIMALS. Animals to compose a competitive group need not be named in application of entry. Exhibitors must indicate, on separate entry applications, each group class in which they expect to compete and number of groups to be entered in each class so full information may be shown in official entry catalog. Animals entered in group classes must show as individuals in single classes. There is no charge for group class entries. Cow/Calf classes: Entries in the Cow/Calf classes require that two (2) stall fees be submitted. Dams entered in Cow/Calf classes are ineligible to compete in any other class. ENTRIES IN GROUP CLASSES MUST BE MADE ON A SEPARATE ENTRY APPLICATION AND SUBMITTED BY THE ENTRY CLOSING DEADLINE.

32. NURSE COWS. Nurse cows will NOT be permitted on the Show Grounds.

33. BARREN ANIMALS. No barren animals will be eligible in the breeding classes. An affidavit that the animal is a breeder must be furnished upon request.

34. DISEASED ANIMALS BARRED. Efforts will be taken to ensure no animals having a disease of any character will be admitted into the Show Grounds at any time, and the Livestock Show Director, Horse Show Director or President are authorized to refuse unloading privileges or remove any stock on the facility having a disease or undesirable ailment as determined by the official Stock Show Veterinarian or the Texas Animal Health Commission. 35. CARE OF ANIMALS. All owners of property or livestock, or others having same in charge, shall care for, guard, protect and preserve the same, as the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show does not undertake to do so, and it shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to said property or the owners thereof. 36. BEDDING. All pens and stalls will be initially bedded with wood shavings upon arrival with the exception of Junior Barrow Show and Junior Wether Lamb Show. Dairy cattle will be bedded on straw. Additional wood shavings or straw will be available at the Feed Office. NOTE: No straw will be allowed in any of the barns except for dairy cattle. 37. DOGS. Service animals in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or similar Texas statutes are allowed on the Stock Show Grounds. Pets and dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under ADA and are not allowed on the Stock Show Grounds including Stock Show parking lots. ADA defines service animals as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Texas statutes define an assistance animal as one that is specifically trained or equipped to help a person with a disability. Service animals can accompany people with disabilities in all areas of the Stock Show Grounds where the public is normally allowed to go. A person with a service animal may be asked to remove the service animal from the premises if: 1) the dog is out of control and the handler does not take effective action to control it; or 2) the dog is not housebroken. Any Stock Show visitor who is asked to remove a dog or pet from the Grounds will be able to participate in, and enjoy Stock Show offerings without the animal’s presence.

This rule does not apply to official entries in the Texas Sheep Dog Association Trials or Stock Show specialty acts.

38. CARE OF STALLS AND PENS. All stalls, pens and exhibition spaces must be cleaned before 8 a.m. each day and refuse matter must be disposed of as the Livestock Show Director may direct. No heat lamps, tarps or coverings may be used in the stalling areas.

An exhibitor will not be permitted to place any bedrolls, buckets, chairs, feed boxes, feed or equipment boxes in the main alleys or in the barn aisles.

NOTICE No Portable Generators Will Be Allowed On Show Grounds.

ANY EQUIPMENT BROUGHT IN TO BE USED IN STALL OR SPACE MUST COMPLY WITH AND USED IN COMPLIANCE WITH ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND MUNICIPAL OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH REGULATIONS.

ANY EXHIBITOR FOUND TO BE HEATING AEROSOL SPRAY CANS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AND RELEASED FROM THE SHOW.

All decorations used in or about the livestock facilities, such as cloth bunting or banners, crepe paper and cellulose materials, MUST BE FLAMEPROOF, subject to approval of the City of Fort Worth Fire Department.
