The American Angus Association ® (AAA), 3201 Frederick Avenue, St. Joseph, Missouri will participate in the 2024 Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show Junior Angus Show according to the premium schedule based on the number of head shown. Any classes which exceed more than 15 head should be broken into smaller classes by dividing the class as evenly as possible without splitting animals with the same birthdate. If there are more than 30 head in a division, the division should be split into Division 1, Division 2, etc. Additional premiums will be provided by AAA for the split classes. The premium amount is based on the previous year’s number of head shown. The Association’s portion of the premiums will be paid directly from the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show office to the exhibitors. Exhibitors who participate in shows that accept premium monies contributed by the American Angus Association ® are subject to the Association Rules as found in the Breeders Reference Guide of the Association. These rules are found in Part 2; Association Rules. All animals exhibited are subject to DNA marker or blood type test to verify accuracy of parentage as covered under the Association Rules and for other testing as required by the individual show. 2024 JUNIOR BREEDING BEEF HEIFER SHOW A copy of the original registration certificate must be submitted with the entry application at the time of entry. Exhibitors are required to bring original registration paper to the show ring while exhibiting the heifer.
