SPECIAL RULES 1. This competition is held under the direct supervision of the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show and is approved by the Pony of the Americas Club, Inc. and the Texas Pony of the Americas Club for points. 2. Eligibility. All ponies must be registered with the Pony of the Americas Club, Inc. All ponies will be shown and judged in accordance with the rules of the Pony of the Americas Club, Inc. A PHOTOCOPY OF EACH HORSE’S REGISTRATION PAPERS (FRONT AND BACK) MUST ACCOMPANY EACH ENTRY. Note: Entries sent without these papers will not be accepted and will be returned to the exhibitor. This applies to all divisions of the Pony of the Americas Show. Entry applications must be filled out completely. 3. Membership. All exhibitors must be a member of the Pony of Americas Club, Inc. 4. All exhibitors must be a member of Texas POAC to be eligible for Club High Point Awards. 5. Ponies will be measured starting at 3 p.m., Monday, January 22. Ponies must be measured in before showing. Permanent Height cards will be offered at this time. 6. Show Fee. A $65 show fee is required for each horse entered. Late entries must pay a show fee of $100. No entries accepted after December 30. Entries must be submitted on entry applications obtained from the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show, from our website fwssr.com or submitted online by clicking here or at fwssr.com. Entry fee $8 per class for Halter and Performance classes. 7. Stall Fee. Refer to Horse Show General Rules and Regulations 4, Page 23. 8. Substitutions – Added Classes. Refer to Horse Show General Rules and Regulations 9 and 10, Page 25. 9. Arrival and Release. POA ponies may arrive on show grounds Monday, January 22. No animal will be allowed on the show grounds without proper receipt of entry. Horses will be released after completion of judging. Refer to Horse Show General Rules and Regulations 26, Page 27.

(SEE HORSE SHOW GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS, PAGE 23) ENTRIES CLOSE NOVEMBER 15 12. High Point Awards will be determined by one (1) pony, one (1) rider. Each horse and rider combination must have a separate back number. If sharing pony, point designation sheets should be completed before show, except leadline pleasure and leadline trail. Rider getting points must ride first.
